A small clinic in an unusual building

Mixed Osteo started in 2016 as an osteopathy clinic inside a combat sports gym in Kensington. The gym is now Renegade BJJ, and the clinic is still there, through the rear entrance at 92 Parsons Street.

It's a small clinic: one osteopath, Dr Luke Smith, and one remedial massage therapist, Nick Mann. You see the same people each time.

Being inside a gym shapes how we work. There's room to move, a TrueStretch frame for loaded rehab, and a lot of experience with people who want to keep training.

How we work

Why it hurts, not just where

Assessment starts with how you move, because the sore spot is often paying for something nearby.

Keep you moving

Complete rest is rarely needed. We work out what you can keep doing while things settle.

Plain explanations

What we think is going on, what's likely to help, and how long it usually takes.

Exercise you'll actually do

A small number of exercises that fit your week. If exercises will help, we take you through them in the session and you film them on your phone, so you know exactly how they go at home or in the gym.

Honest referral

If something needs a GP, imaging or a specialist, we'll tell you. Head knocks always go to a doctor.
